About Our Law Firm
Ortiz & Schick, PLLC is a Raleigh law firm that specializes in business, construction, commercial real estate, civil litigation, and surety matters. We help clients with transactions and with disputes. We advise companies on a wide range of issues: contracts, intellectual property, financing, employees, vendors, litigation. We help set up new companies, and help expand, split, dissolve, buy or sell existing companies. We advise property owners, developers, and managers – from buying, selling, and financing, to leasing, developing or building on real estate. We help general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers, whether with writing or interpreting contracts or with filing or defending claims. We also represent surety companies that need assistance with performance, payment or estate bond matters.
At Ortiz & Schick, we offer our clients big firm expertise, without the big firm. That means that we handle many of the same matters that large law firms handle, but without the large law firm price, the large firm turn-around time, and the large firm hierarchy. We pride ourselves on being approachable, accessible, and responsive. When you call us, you will speak to the lawyer that is handling your matter. And our legal invoices are clear and detailed, so you know exactly what we are doing for you.
